I saw AmazingPhil do his May favourites video today. I felt like if he had the courage to try something new, I should gather some of my own and do it as well! So here is a May favourites blogpost for you guys!
The first thing on my list is these Origami hearts that I have been making for the past few days! I have made them in so many colours and I literally have a ‘Jar of hearts’ in my bedroom! I feel so creative and relaxed when I make these. They also look so beautiful as cards, because you can write a mini message inside them too. If you would like to know how to make them, I may do a DIY tutorial on them someday (if you want). Just drop me a line in the comment section/my email/my twitter.
I have recently done another DIY project. I made my own lipgloss!! I am so proud of it and it is this beautiful shade of pink that I love to wear. It’s become my to-go lipgloss. I hope you like it too! 😀
Okay, so as you know I watch a lot of youtube. So, my favourite video from last month is………? The Prank Calls video that Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) did with Dan (Danisnotonfire)!!! The video is so hilarious and so awkward that you want to laugh all the way through it (and ofcourse, it has Dan in it).
I have not been reading much of anything in the last month, but I did stumble upon a book from my teenhood (I know, it’s not a word). This book is called ‘A Little Love Song’ and is written by Michelle Magorian. It is a very beautiful coming of age novel, which I would definitely recommend!
It’s summer and it is the perfect time for braiding your hair. My fave summer braid for May, which I have done quiet a lot on my hair as well is a classic but beautiful French braid. I won’t go into too much detail, but I have been loving either french braiding my hair or doing a fishtail braid in the last month.
There are so many that I would love to share with you all beautiful people! But this is it for today 🙂
If you like my DIY projects do let me know. I want to bring back a lot of adventure to this blog soon! If you like this sort of posts, let me know and I may start doing them more often.
Thanks and I will see you next time,
P.s: If you haven’t seen Phil’s video :
